FAQs

Some of the most commonly asked questions clients ask me! If you have a question you have and its not listed, please send me a message about it!

  • Up to 1-2 weeks for family, couple and senior portraits.

Up to 3-4 weeks for weddings.

They will of course vary on amount of pictures and length of each shoot. For example a 2 hour extended family shoot will take longer than a small 45 minute family shoot.

  • For weddings, I deliver about 200-400 photos. It’ll vary depending on factors such as the length of your wedding, and the size of your wedding party and guests.

For portraits, such as family, couples, senior. This can be around 50-100 photos. Again varying depending on the length of the session.

  • The photos will be delivered in an online gallery that can be password protected and made private to share only with guests and family of your choosing.

Available on the website are the options to download web and full sized images of each photo. The ability to purchase individual prints, frames and albums of the photos.

  • The photos I include are the best ones. All of the rejects or the ones I didn’t include are all lesser versions of the ones I did send. For example these could include duplicate photos, someone blinked, or looked away. Perhaps there was a car in the background. Things like that, I don’t include in the final album.

  • Personally, I excel best when it comes to the Photojournalistic approach to photography. Letting the days events unfold before me and capturing them naturally. I only interject myself in when it comes to small adjustments or when it comes time to do group or couples photos.

If you know you’re someone who wants all those detail shots like, putting on the veil, first looks, bridesmaids first look, getting ready details, then I’ll have to take on a more hands on approach in making sure that those shots are exactly how you like them. Timing, lighting as well as countdown. I may adjust the location of where certain shots are done.

As for aesthetics, that’s an ever changing question. For me, I pay attention to the colors and lighting of the day as well as the couple. If I shoot a wedding in a city, versus the forest, versus the beach, they’re all going to have very different end results in how I edit as well as your own preference.

  • Yes! I do edit all my photos one at a time through a lengthy selection process. I don’t do any presets or batch editing. Every photo receives individual assessment independent of other photos based on its own lighting and colors. If one photo was taken inside and its darker and cozier and we move outside for another part and its brighter with more open space. Naturally those photos would have to be taken and edited differently than one another.

  • I’ve thought about that and I understand that many people window shopping on websites for their wedding photographers looking for that certain style or aesthetic they want. With a portfolio that looks varied, I hope to display my ability to shoot in different kinds of environment and situations. From weddings at gorgeous venues to small elopements in a family members backyard. I also wish to flex and train myself to edit and take pictures under various conditions. So maybe one week I’ll shoot a wedding in a forest, or in a church or on the beach. For me personally
